Technology
Tincroft loves technology! We have 2 smart TVs so you can watch your favourite shows including Netflix as well as stream music. There are also bluetooth speakers in the cottage.
(The TVs and speakers are chipped so we know if they go walkies!!)
Essentials
There's nothing worse than arriving at a self catering place and not being able to find the loo roll when you're desperate, so we've taken care of that for you. Along with shower gel, washing up liquid, washing up accessories. We also usually leave a few essentials in the cupboards to help you out.
Easy Check-ins
Check in and check outs are super easy at Tincroft Cottage. We don't want you to panic if you get stuck in traffic or worry about waiting around for someone to meet you to check in. Therefore we have created an entry system that allows you to access the front door key easily using your personalised code. This means you don't have to worry about sharing keys with kids and family, just leave it in the key safe and enjoy your day!
Food Delivery
Wouldn't it be great to get your food delivered directly to the holiday cottage as soon as you arrive? well that can quite easily happen! Sainsburys and Tescos both deliver to the cottage so simply complete your food (and wine!) order online a few days before you depart and hey presto!
Location
Tincroft is located in a small, quiet resort that benefits from the beach being only a stone throw away. Take long walks along the coast and explore old tin mines along the way. If walking isn't your thing, there is a upmarket gastro pub with an outdoor decking areas in the village conveniently situated next to the children's' play area. The village also has a surf shop, cafe, bar, ice cream shop and gift shop.

We love a good surprise so if you are celebrating something special or want to spoil someone, just let us know and we can arrange some lovely treats to be left for you.

Towels and Linen
There are fresh towels and linen ready and waiting for you. We also leave spare pillows for you and some cosy throws for those lazy evenings lounging infront of the TVs.
It's always a good idea to bring your beach towels with you though.
Heating
Hands up if you hate being cold? (*raises both hands)
That's why we have lots of smart slimline heaters dotted throughout the cottage to make sure your noses and toes don't feel cold. The perfect reason to visit Tincroft all year round.
Car Parking Space
There is 1 designated parking space outside the cottage and a few others nearby on a first come first serve basis.
Al Fresco Dining
Theres nothing like sitting outside in the evening watching the sun go down on the decking and enjoying a good BBQ. There is a lovely porch where food can be enjoyed along with a little BBQ area. The best bit? Use disposable trays and no washing up!
What is even better is that you can visit Porthtowan beach and BBQ on the beach and have a cosy campfire in the evenings too.

The Beach
As an area of outstanding natural beauty, you are in the right place for beaches. Porthtowan beach is a 5 minute walk down the road along with a number of other beautiful beaches under a mile away.
Yoga

The village hosts an amazing aerial yoga class. Catered for the absolute beginners to the advance, the classes are a lot of fun and promise you leave you feeling energised.
Cornwall Gold
with 18acres of goldmining landscape, Cornwall Gold is the place to spend a few hours exploring the history of the region as well as browsing through the stunning gold and pearl jewlelry they have on offer.
Surf
Renowned for the surf, this is the place to visit if you want to have a go at a new experience. The surf shop can provide you with everything you could need to catch some waves.
Coastal Walks
Walk the coastal path from Porthtowan to Chapel Porth (1.4miles) and enjoy the breath taking views of many historical national heritage sites.
Bike Riding

Bikes can be hired within the resort and guests can follow the numerous cycle tracks within the area. Alternatively, take yourself down to 'The Track' where you can find miles and miles of ramps and jumps for people of all ages to enjoy.
